Since its inception in 2021, the Cloudreach Talent Academy has launched a series of regional cohorts to provide opportunities for under-represented groups across the globe. So far we have launched cohorts in EMEA, North America, DACH and India with many more planned in the future.
Each cohort consists of 20 trainees joining the Talent Academy program. Over the 2 years the trainees will experience classroom, supervised and independent working models on their way to achieving AWS speciality certification.
“Joining Cloudreach and Talent Academy program is an important turning point in my career. The program’s well-guided learning journey has given me the hope and confidence to start and restart my career in cloud technology.”

Our very first Talent Academy cohort launched in London in November, 2021. This cohort proved to us that there is plenty of diverse and passionate talent out there, but you just need to know where to look for it!
Part of our ethos was to engage and attract talent from communities who are significantly under-represented in the tech industry. We couldn’t be more proud of this cohort and the support from AWS. This UK cohort is now working on projects with our customers and getting fantastic feedback.
Each member of our NA cohort beat fierce competition to earn a place in Talent Academy; we received applications from more than 600 diverse and extremely talented candidates.
The majority of our cohort is non-white and female, consistent with our mission to address the lack of diversity in the tech sector. We are very proud to have worked with grassroots organisations in North America to build this incredible cohort.

The DACH cohort is our most recent addition to Talent Academy The Dach team is incredibly talented and diverse, ranging from mechanical engineers and teachers to experienced technical engineers.
Most are female, and the majority are newcomers to Germany. Cloudreach worked closely with ReDi School of Digital Integration to connect with diverse and experienced talent.
Members of our India cohort have all completed AWS reStart training before joining Cloudreach. Our trainees have diverse backgrounds and experiences, from software engineer to banking.
We are proud that our cohort is 50% female, demonstrating our deep partnership with Generation India, a non-profit organisation that helps people build life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible. We’re excited support AWS reStart by helping its graduates begin their careers in cloud computing.
